I am committed to effective, efficient, and fair government for the citizens of Deltona. I know we can move beyond the petty bickering and pointless recrimination that have too often dominated Deltona politics. I believe in Deltona and stand ready to work with any community leader to build a better Deltona for us and our children.

Crime
Deltona needs the best law enforcement we can afford. Keeping our children safe will be my top priority as your commissioner.

Taxes and Revenue
All Deltonans are facing tougher times. I pledge never to waste your money. I promise you that I will help find ways to fund basic services at the lowest cost to our citizens. Deltona needs a plan to prevent future shortfalls and tax increases.

Jobs
In order to get Deltonans back to work, Deltona must attract business and industry. I will work with any community leaders who will help us provide business with the right conditions to grow and profit in Deltona. I applaud the efforts of our city's leaders to streamline our zoning and permitting to attract high-tech, high-wage jobs to Deltona. We must build on these efforts and preserve our commitment to attract good jobs in the decades to come.

Infrastructure
Deltona is one of the largest cities in the region, but our infrastructure of streets, sewers and drainage is woefully inadequate to meet the needs of our citizens. I will work with city, county, and state leaders to find solutions that will allow Deltona to continue to grow and improve in the years ahead.

Deltona needs an integrated development plan and a redevelopment authority with the power to get things done.

Environment
Florida’s natural beauty is a priceless asset to our economy, our people, and our spirit as a state. I will fight to protect our ecosystems, our wildlife, and our people from reckless industrial and government abuse. I will serve not only in the commission but as an advocate to preserve our environment for future generations.

Equality
I am committed to equal treatment for all Deltonans, regardless of gender, age, race, nationality, religion, or sexual identity or orientation. I will fight for fair treatment in housing and employment for all citizens of Deltona.
